I love photographing aircraft and skyscapes where I live in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona. Conditions seem always ripe for the most fantastic and colorful cloudscapes in the world, especially with all the jets that fly over - contributing their contrails to the mix. Contrails are believed to be the streams of water vapor jets leave behind in their wake. Conspiracy theories say that in some cases, those cons are really chems could be harmful. Whatever they are, they make beautiful additions to the skyscapes I often see. In this photograph taken on January 8, 2019 about 40 miles south of Phoenix, the jet is clearly visible, and the setting sun was accenting silvery highlights on its surface that shown bright well into its fading into the wild blue yonder.
