Description
I live in a remote area of the Sonoran Desert of Arizona southwest of Phoenix where jets leave a high concentration of contrails in the sky. When mingled with the desert air, they create awesome formations in the clouds such as this one. To me, this resembles the extended arm of the Kachina in charge — as if hand planting before an awkward fall. But Kachinas don’t fall. From another location, this formation looks very different, and even in this one, it changed in less than five minutes. Clouds are master teachers of impermanence and detachment. The only constant in the world is change.
