February 24, 2019 was one of those crazy contrail days in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona where I live. Live contrails were running all over the place during magic hour, and some jets even appeared to be racing each other. I wish I knew why this particular area produces so many great cloudscapes made of contrails and their infinite variations. Perhaps my “cloud” people can tell me! The “more” definitely includes the incredible skyscapes of this most diverse desert in the southwestern United States and northern part of Mexico.
