February 24, 2019 was one of those crazy contrail days in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona where I live. Live contrails were running all over the place during magic hour, and some jets even appeared to be racing each other. I wish I knew why this particular area produces so many great cloudscapes made of contrails and their infinite variations. Perhaps my “cloud” people can tell me! Anyway, I got fascinating video footage of this event. I plan to publish a video on my YouTube Channel here: http://youtube.com/waywardmuse - Arizona Sonoran Desert Wildlife & More. The “more” definitely includes the incredible skyscapes of this most diverse desert in the southwestern United States and northern part of Mexico.
