This is one of those times during a Sonoran Desert sunset when the clouds make strange shapes that really stand out when artistically enhanced. Some folks believe that these shapes are UFOs in disguise or sylphs (a type of nature spirit) taking unusual forms like crop circles in order to communicate. Who knows? Whatever they are - merely clouds - aspects of our imagination - or something entirely different - we can all appreciate them for their beauty and inspiration! This “flying submarine” was captured in a remote location of northwestern Pinal County south of Phoenix, Arizona on a gorgeous spring evening.
