This photograph is the “not vivid” version of Y Cactus Winter Sunset Vivid. The wider perspective allows one to see a lot of unusual activity in the sky, including the formation captured in “Beautiful Serpentine Sylph.” I see something that looks like an angel and an assortment of other rapidly changing figures in one of the most luminous displays in this series of sunset pictures. So I just decided to call it as I saw it - captured on film the evening of December 23, 2018, about 50 miles south of Phoenix in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona.
