Fascinating cloud formations appear over the Sonoran Desert of Arizona about 50 miles south of Phoenix as the sun sets. This arrangement made me think of a strange cosmic hand reaching upwards in the sky towards infinity. The "fingers" are called stratocumulus radiatus clouds by meteorologists.
