Description
These magnificent tall, skinny, rock faces can be seen at the Boyce-Thompson Arboretum, one of southern Arizona’s most beautiful state parks. Resplendent with saguaros and other desert flora, they suddenly rise up out of the Earth above Ayer’s Lake, and provide a wondrous backdrop for desert wildlife and humans alike. This is how it appeared to me on the afternoon of March 17, 2018.
