Description
A beautiful, friendly male Costa’s Hummingbird (Calypte costae) regularly visits me. I call him “Little Jewel.” Here’s a photo of him all aglow perched on the branch of a Mesquite tree. This photo was taken in northwest Pinal County about 50 miles south of Phoenix in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona.
