Description
Several years ago, I came upon a Great Horned Owl during a twilight hike in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona. Fortunately I had my video camera with me, and also managed to get some stills. I was surprised at the magical, mysterious cat-like nature of the silhouette! This wondrous capture occurred in northwest Pinal County, about 50 miles south of Phoenix, and the video can viewed here: https://tinyurl.com/y9bbug6k. The soundtrack is one of my first musical compositions written for a specific video.
