I live in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona in a remote location about 40 miles south of Phoenix. I get an awesome variety of wild birds - especially doves. They like to perch and line up on the utility lines around the place, and often make interesting and picturesque silhouettes. When they’re too far away for detailed resolution, I like to make digital alterations to the photograph like I did here. So it’s really “Dove on a Wire - Abstract” I suppose. But the dove is an Eurasian-Collared Dove which I think is a particularly beautiful bird in shape and form as you can see - perched up high - appreciating the sky and the surroundings like I do. It is my home.
