This extraordinary Sonoran Desert sunset of February 4, 2019 was a bit different from other Arizona sunsets I’ve seen. Something about it reminded of the birthing of a new golden age of light. Even the usual silhouette of my “Y” cactus, which is really a giant saguaro, seemed more iridescent. Perhaps it was wishful thinking or I was having some kind of mystical experience with Cloud Kachina. It matters not. What matters is that I captured its beauty for all to share. Enjoy!
