This is a really close up look at the coyote inspecting my remote night cam! Because these photos are not in color when shot at night, I like to treat them artistically. These colors capture the extremity of the moment I believe! A note on the equipment: Infrared technology makes it look like the animal is in a spotlight when it is not. The camera only emits a dim red light, but it’s enough to provoke an animal’s curiosity at times. This photo was captured on the evening of January 22, 2019 in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona about 40 miles south of Phoenix.
