Description
This is a photograph of a spider web on the wood exterior of a house taken on September 9, 2018 in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona. The spider was nowhere to be seen, but I suspect it was a black widow due to the messy asymmetry of its pattern. All the same, I admired the architecture enough to take a picture. I wondered what “Charlotte” might have done to enhance it. I decided to help her out by adding symmetry and a beautiful rosy gradient to the wood with a hint of lilac. The result was this intricate lace-like mandala that would look lovely hanging on the wall, made into a fabric or any fashion design for that matter. But remember, most of the credit goes to Charlotte, or should I say Mother Nature through her!
