Description
Lately, I’ve been capturing many zodiac moons with contrails nearby, and in some cases, crossing through them. Contrails are the water vapor trails left by jets in certain atmospheric conditions. In the Sonoran Desert of Arizona where I live the skies are particularly conducive to them and they even get woven into the cloud patterns producing some of those most magnificent displays of beauty I’ve ever seen - especially during the sunset hours. Here we have a waxing crescent moon in the zodiac sign of Cancer appearing with one one on June 6, 2019 as seen from about 50 miles south of Phoenix.
