I had the pleasure of rescuing and releasing this gorgeous rattlesnake back into the wild in September of 2021. It’s memorialized on my YouTube channel in the video entitled “Free a Rattlesnake (Mojave) in the Flowers”: https://bit.ly/beautifulrattler . The setting is the Sonoran Desert of Arizona about 60 miles southwest of Phoenix. The Mojave rattlesnake only strikes in self-defense but it’s venom is very powerful so extreme caution should be exercised at all times when around these beautiful animals. I do these images and videos to help people appreciate a necessary animal that has been unjustly maligned. Enjoy!
