Two saguaro siblings in the Sonoran Desert seem to be “battling it out” while their nursery plant tries to intercede as if to say, “That’s enough now!” This photo was taken in northwestern Pinal County south of Phoenix in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona several years later in a different season and from a different angel than the original. As can be seen, the palo verde tree is greener and the cholla cactus on the hill in the background seems a bit brighter.
