Of all the moons of the year, this August full moon in Aquarius symbolizes the individual acting on behalf of the collective more than any other. Many other astrological aspects reinforce this important attribution. When I photographed it, this full moon had a reddish tinge to it due to the atmospheric conditions where I was - the Arizona Sonoran Desert. Perhaps there was a haboob in the distance releasing dust soon after twilight. Anyway, I thought it might be nice to use this photograph as a tribute to its meaning, making it especially appropriate for a mask!
